Through strategic planning, continuous guidance, and ongoing evaluation, we help students build a compelling and authentic profile that maximizes their potential for college admissions while encouraging meaningful personal growth.
Our comprehensive college admissions consulting program is designed for students in 9th through 12th grade. We provide personalized guidance in academic planning, course selection, standardized testing strategy, extracurricular development, summer program planning, resume building, college list development, and application essay coaching. Every student receives an individualized roadmap tailored to their unique strengths, interests, and long-term goals, ensuring a strategic and authentic approach to college admissions.

I'm Meng Chen, founder of Dr Chen STEM Admissions. I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and worked as a full-time electrical engineer for 12 years before dedicating my time to raising my two sons.
My passion for college admissions began when my older son entered 10

I'm Meng Chen, founder of Dr Chen STEM Admissions. I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and worked as a full-time electrical engineer for 12 years before dedicating my time to raising my two sons.
My passion for college admissions began when my older son entered 10th grade. Over the next seven years, I immersed myself in the admissions process by attending webinars, university forums, and student panels, while conducting extensive research through trusted online resources. Through guiding both of my sons on their college journeys, I learned that every student has unique strengths, interests, and goals. By creating a personalized roadmap tailored to each of them, they were ultimately admitted to Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Inspired by this experience, I earned a certificate from the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and founded Dr Chen STEM Admissions. My mission is to help every student develop a personalized roadmap that reflects their unique potential and leads to long-term success.
